Waystone is a free, step-by-step leveling guide addon. It tells you what to do now, points the way, and puts the right quest NPC or mob one key press away.
Free, with no paid tier. First route: Valley of Trials and Durotar, levels 1 to 12, for every Orc and Troll class. Alliance follows.
A small panel says the one thing to do now: kill, collect, turn in, accept, train. Want less? The minimal panel shows just the next three steps.
F9 targets the enemy the step needs, F8 the friendly NPC, and pressing again moves to the next one. Or click a name in the panel. The keys work in combat and can be changed.
F7 uses the item the step asks for, so you don't have to dig through your bags.
Talk to the NPC and the guide's quests are accepted and turned in by themselves. Quests the route doesn't need are left alone. Both can be switched off.
A sound when a quest mob is near, so a rare spawn doesn't walk past you. Quest NPCs and mobs can each be tracked or not.
Every step has its map position. With TomTom installed, Waystone sets the waypoint arrow for you.
Every route is a plain text file, one step per line. Click any step in the guide window to jump there, or import a guide to try it out.
If you like, Waystone announces your levels and finished guides in party chat, guild chat or /say. Each one can be switched off.
A step wrong, or an idea for a better route? Send it on the report page, and the guide gets fixed.

Routes get better when players report what they find. If you turn on recording, Waystone notes quest ids, NPC ids and map positions while you play. Report this step in the guide window, or /waystone share, turns that into a short string you paste on this site.
Ideas are welcome too: a faster route, a feature you miss. Reports and ideas are read, turned into guide changes, and every change is reviewed before it ships.

WoW Forever. It is built and tested against that client.
No. Waystone Core plus Waystone Guide is enough. TomTom adds the waypoint arrow and Questie adds quest data, if you already use them.
No. Waystone is its own addon, written from scratch. It is not based on similar addons, and no code or routes are taken from any other guide.
When the first two routes, one per faction, are tested in game. It will be on Wago, and this page will link to it.
